This is because with a birth of a child so late in the year, you are only going to have a couple of month’s worth of baby expenses yet you will be allowed to claim an entire year’s worth of deductions. But my guess is that if you are reading this article, it is because you want to know what the best times are for conception itself.
Basically, the best time to get pregnant is during ovulation. This is the portion of the menstrual cycle in which an ovarian follicle or groups of ovary cells break apart and release an ovum, or egg (sometimes called a female gamete.) The egg travels through a fallopian tube and heads to the uterus. Should an egg become fertilized by a sperm cell, it will attach to the uterine wall.
If you are attempting to get pregnant, it would behoove you to determine when during your menstrual cycle you are ovulating. Knowing the best time to conceive is about knowing when the fertile time in a woman’s cycle is, but this is a somewhat complex thing to understand. For a start, the general life span of an ovum is twenty four hours at most, and as two or more eggs may be released in a 24 hours period of ovulation a woman is fertile for only around two or more days. If we factor in the man’s part, then his sperm can live for about five days maximum, so combined there is only around a one week window of fertility each month. For the best indicator of a woman’s fertile time one needs to check the quality of cervical fluid – when it is an eggwhite consistency this is the fertile period, but it may only be there for a couple of days.
Even though it is technically impossible, many women still think that they can get pregnant during a menstrual period. In rare cases a woman may get pregnant from intercourse she had in the last days of a period. This is only really possible when the woman has a very short cycle, and the sperm survive long enough to be present at ovulation. Importantly many woman mistake blood spotting during ovulation for their menses, and get pregnant at this time and think it was during their period. This highlights well the need of women to understand their bodies and their unique monthly cycle. Read more...

Internal hemorrhoids are difficult to treat just due to where they are located. Over the years doctors and surgeons have come up with a number of different approaches to hemorrhoid treatments. Unfortunately these surgical procedures are both costly and invasive. Through this article I will explore the five most common surgical approaches to hemorrhoids treatments.
1. Rubber Band Ligation – Rubber band ligation has been used for hundreds of years in one form or another. With rubber band ligation a small rubber band is place around the bottom of the hemorrhoid which hopefully cuts off the blood flow leading to the hemorrhoid shriveling up and falling off.
2. Injection Sclerotherapy – A special chemical solution is injected into the mucous membrane surrounding the hemorrhoid during the injection sclerotherapy which will close off the veins leading into the hemorrhoid which will hopefully cause the hemorrhoid to shrivel up and fall off.
3. Infrared Photocoagulation – Infrared Photocoagulation is a procedure where the doctor shines a infrared light on the swollen veins that lead to the hemorrhoid. The infrared light causes the blood to clot in the area leading to the hemorrhoid which will cut off the blood supply leading to the death of the hemorrhoid. Read more...

Infertility is one of the most stressful situations that any couple must deal with. Even treatments for it can contribute to the stress that the couple goes through. In addition, the irony is that couples that realize that they themselves are stressed can further worsen their infertility thanks to this realization!
But what are some of the factors behind infertility stress? What causes it?
Firstly, it can begin from knowing they are infertile. After having sex for a long time, the couple is unable to have child and they seek medicial attention. One or both could very well end up feeling depressed and inadequate when the specialist diagnosis say it is due to infertility.
Secondly, should the couple decide to undergo infertility treatments, doing so can further add to their stress. Such treatments can prove exceedingly and prohibitively expensive depending on the treatments required. (Patients, though, may be able to avail of financing options and fertility insurance if they qualify for it.)
And the process itself – having to go in and out of doctors’ waiting rooms and hospitals, among other places, waiting with bated breath for results, and so on and so forth – can also contribute to stress immensely. Read more...
